SEO Services

Over the last few years SEO has become harder for local businesses to manage as Google makes frequent changes and strategies come and go.

With over 11 years of not only helping local businesses to improve their online presence but also running our own online businesses, we feel we have the knowledge to make a difference for your business.

There are 3 definite signs that your Search Engine Optimisation has stopped working:

  1. The number of people calling you reduces
  2. The number of people visiting your website reduces
  3. The number of keywords that you show up for in Google’s search results reduces

Here are some interesting stats to show that having good effective SEO is a must have not a nice to have!

  • 46% of all Google searches are local
  • Nearly 1/3 of all mobile searches feature a location
  • 57% of B2B marketers stated that SEO generates more leads than any other marketing initiative
  • 75% of people never scroll past the first page of search engines

Now do you see why it is vital that your SEO is in place and having maximum effect?

So, how do you address these problems?

The key is to stay updated on the criteria the major search engines use to determine how your website fits into the searches being conducted. Keep your site updated regularly, so Google knows that it has not been abandoned. Most importantly, make use of Google’s reporting features to learn where improvements are necessary, and your site will remain on top. These are only a few minor things to do. There are over 200 ranking factors that decide where Google sees your website should rank.

Google has made a promise to it’s shareholders that it will give the most relevant results every time someone makes a search. Therefore relevance is a huge ranking factor.

Is your website as relevant as it should be?

Google My Business

Have you got a Google My Business listing? If not why not?

For several years now Google has been showing local businesses near the top of its search results in what is currently called the Google My Business listings. They have had several names over the years – Google Places, Google 7 Pack, Google 3 Pack, the Snack Pack to name but a few!

With the Yellow Pages now gone from our world, people have turned to the internet when looking for a local business or tradesman. Being in the top 3 Google My Business listings is hugely important to your business.

If you are not sure what we are talking about here is a screenshot of what they are:

Over the last 12 months there has been a huge increase in the number of searches made with the words ‘near me’ in them. For example ‘plumber near me’. Because Google knows where you are by your IP address or if you are on a mobile, your location services, they will give you the closest businesses to you at that particular moment. This includes the Google My Business listings.

Did you know that 50% of people who make a search for a local business actually make contact with a business that day. Over 75% of people do so within the following 24 hours.

One thing that most people look at when looking for a business or a product online are reviews. The GMB listings enable you to show reviews which can have a massive effect on the number of people clicking through to your website. In fact the number of people clicking through to the businesses website from a GMB listing increased by 29% in 2018.

But, apart from the fact that having a listing is FREE, the number one reason to have a listing is that your competitors have one! And, if yours is well optimised, then you stand a much better chance of ranking higher than them.

16% of businesses who have a listing received over 100 calls per month in 2018. This is one of my favourite stats – 96% of GMB listings are viewed at least 25 times per month with 49% of listings receiving over 1000 searches per month.

So, you see, it is not a case of whether you have a GMB listing, you MUST have one!

A Google My Business listing, on Page 1 of Google, is guaranteed to get your Business MORE customers.

Messenger ChatBots

Chatbot’s, mainly through Facebook Messenger are changing the face of the way we communicate online.

Here are some mind bending stats for you:

  • 20 billion messages are sent between people and businesses every month
  • There are 300,000 active Messenger bots on the platform
  • Messenger is the second most popular iOS app of all time – behind only the main Facebook app

It has been predicted that by 2020, 85% of consumer interactions will be handled without a human agent (Chatbots Life, 2019).

It is also predicted that 80% of businesses are expected to have some sort of chatbot automation by 2020 (Outgrow, 2018).

Now, as we are already in August 2019 and less than 1% of B2B companies are using chatbots yet, that figure is probably a bit optimistic but chatbot’s are definitely here to stay.

Many people who go to a website feel compelled to interact with a messenger bot whether it is for customer service reasons or to find out more information on a particular product. Messenger has become part of everyday life, so why not harness it for your business?

Part of the beauty of messenger marketing is the fact that it enables you to automatically message everybody who has come through your bot. Email marketing currently has an open rate of about 20% on a good day, but Messenger can give you open rates of well over 80%. The possibilities are endless.

So how does a chatbot work?

Glad you asked us that! If you have Messenger enabled, click HERE and follow a sequence we have on our demo website. It explains what they are and shows examples of how they are being used by businesses to good effect. You will be amazed!

So, now you have seen what one can do, and don’t forget the chatbot on our demo site is an example of what can be achieved as well.

  • How, would your business use one?
  • How much time could be saved by using a bot?
  • How much extra business could you get with the help of a bot?
  • How big a mailing list could you build with a bot?

Let’s not forget that as soon as someone clicks on the initial Send to Messenger button, they are placed on your mailing list. If you set up a regular sequence of messages, these will then go out straight to the persons smartphone or their PC – you must have seen them?

We can build you a chatbot for your business.

A one time investment of £197 +vat gets you a chatbot created in an account in your name enabling you to keep it running after wards.

If you would like us to create and maintain your chatbot, making changes to it as and when you require, also creating (with your input) a sequence of messages.

Video Services

Here are some interesting video stats that will make you sit up and take note.

People now watch video more than they watch tv. Also, 81% of businesses now use videos as part of their online marketing strategy. By 2022, online videos will make up more than 82% of all consumer internet traffic — 15 times higher than it was in 2017!

So, are you one of the 81%?

If not, you are missing out on a ton of potential traffic to your website. In case you didn’t know, Google owns Youtube and that is why it favours videos in it’s search results. However, for local search terms e.g plumber Exeter, you will not see videos on the first page of Google. There are however, plenty of other ways to make videos work for your business.

Maybe you already have videos for your business but don’t know how to use them effectively? Or maybe you would like one made for your business. Either way we can help you.

If you simply require a consultation regarding how to use your current videos we will happily spend some time with you to discuss the best ways forward to get the maximum effectiveness from your videos.

If, however, you would like us to create a video for you we can do that for you as well.

Here is an example of the kind of video we can create for you.

Online Advertising

By far the 2 best places to advertise your business online are Google and Facebook. But many businesses have tried and lost a ton of money with little to show for it.

The level of targeting you can achieve on both Facebook and Google to get your ads to be seen by exactly the type of people, in exactly the right place, is second to none.

BUT

Unless you know what you are doing you can lose a lot of money trying to get your ads to work.

We know as we have been there, bought the tee-shirt!!

Why not see how we can achieve great results for your business.

Simply invest £25 (+VAT)  with us and we will run a small campaign for you on our own Facebook or Google ads platform and show you how we can make a difference to your business.
